INTRODUCTION

The Anscoflex II is a TLR camera made in USA by Ansco between 1953 and 1956.

BEST SUITED FOR:

Good for nothing!

PERSONAL NOTES

The Anscoflex was designed by Raymond Loewy, american designer. The camera still carries today that typical look of the fifties.

A front panel covers the lenses. By lifting it, it shows the 2 lenses, and also pops a hood for the finder, all in one action. A nice design for a common TLR user.

The camera is quite limited. Shutter is only 1/60s, and aperture is always f11. So, much like a Holga, you have to choose film ISO in accordance with lighting.

It uses 620 film, and won't accept 120, you must use real 620 spools in this camera.

CONCLUSION

The Anscoflex II is a nice piece for your collection, but forget about using it.
