They are not cheap.

BEST SUITED FOR:

Landscapes

Architecture

PERSONAL NOTES

With its huge image size, 6x17cm, the amount of details that is recorded into film is immense, making this a dream for landscape photographers.

The camera is big, a bit on the heavy side, it uses a large format lens that has an image circle wide enought to cover the image size. Like all Fuji cameras, the design is well done. There is a solid structure protecting the lens, and there is a useful bubble level on it. The camera accepts 120 and 220 film. You can do only 4 images on a 120 film roll, so be sure to carry enough rolls.

CONCLUSION

This is a superb panoramic camera, huge but excellent. If you want to take a panoramic camera everywhere, buy the Hasselblad X-Pan (or Fuji TX-1) instead. But if you plan to do some landscapes with it, its ideal.
