PERSONAL NOTES

The Minolta Super A is a fixed lens rangefinder camera. The lens is a 50mm f2, which has a sonnar design, which gives characteristic looks and bokeh. The results are nice, I like that bokeh.

In hands, it feels solid as a rock, a bit heavy. The controls for the shutter speed is a vertical wheel that you adjust on the top plate of the camera, which is a bit odd, but it works.

The viewfinder is a little dim compaired to other brands, and is much more difficult to use compaired to a Leica. You get what you pay for.

CONCLUSION

The Minolta Super A has a nice lens, but the finder is not great to use. I would inversnt more and get a Leica M.
