INTRODUCTION

The Nikkorex 35 II is a leaf shutter SLR camera. It was made in Japan by Nippon Kogaku (Nikon), it replaced the first version of the Nikkorex in 1962.

BEST SUITED FOR:

Good for nothing!

PERSONAL NOTES

Nikon first made rangefinder cameras, then it introduced its first SLR, the famous Nikon F. The Nikkorex is a weird mix between these two worlds.

It looks like someone mounted a crappy rangefinder lens on a bulky and oversized SLR body. Its solid, but heavy, yet fragile.

CONCLUSION

I see absolutely no reason why someone should have used a camera like this in 1962, even less today.
