PERSONAL NOTES

I really like this camera. It has pretty much everything you need to be creative. It has both shutter and aperture priority, and access to great diversified lenses. All that in a light and compact package.

The only drawback I can find is that you need batteries to use it, if your batteries dies, you can't use the camera. The F3 would be better as it has a second mechanical shutter thet always works, even without batteries, but it's more heavy and expensive too.

CONCLUSION

I recommend the Nikon FA to any photographer who needs a light Nikon body.
