PERSONAL NOTES

The Voigtlander Bessa L is a special camera, it has no finder! No viewfinder, no rangefinder, nothing.

For shooting street photography with wide angle lenses, it's a very good match.

Because depth of field is large when using short focal lenses, you can pre-focus or use the hyperfocal distance to easily shoot without thinking about focus. And no finder means you can shoot from the hip, a very liberating experience. If not, you can pop in an external viewfinder and compose properly.

CONCLUSION

The Voigtlander Bessa L is a cheap way to have access to great lenses. The only bad thing about this camera is that its shutter is a bit loud for street photography.
