"One of my preferred photographer, one that inspired me to try new thing and view stuff differently is Eric Constantineau. Eric is an active member of our "Photo Safari Montreal" group and we see each other on occasion to snap picture with a smaller group.
As you will discover his style is very different than many, for him light is a tool to be controlled and manipulated, so a good picture can be captured. Lying flat on the floor to catch a different perspective is a common move for him. For that I'm greatfull to him, as now i try to see thing with a much different angle if possible, i don't just snap, i observe from different ways.
